This man is definitely up for Father of the Year.
According to Huffington Post, Yu Xukang, 40, a single dad from China, walks 9 miles (one way) every day to take his son to school and he carries the boy on his back.
His son has a disorder that causes his arms and legs to become twisted and hunched over and there’s no other way for the 12-year-old to get to class.
Huffington Post reports that Yu wakes up every day at 5 a.m., prepares lunch for them, puts the boy in a basket that he attaches to his back, then makes the journey to school.
He then walks back home to work as a farmer and when it’s time, he heads back to school and carries his son home.
